Following The Petchey Academy's being awarded Healthy School status in May 2008, the Academy was audited by the Learning Trust's Healthy Schools team at the end of November 2008 and the Academy's status as a healthy school was confirmed.  The team commented that: 'It was stimulating and enjoyable to meet young people with such confidence and very positive and supportive attiudes towards the school and eatc other'.  They also commented on the: 'Clear leadership and commitment from SLT, staff and pupils to the promotion of health and well being in the school.'  The Academy has now been invited to become and Healthy School +.  Watch this space!
