Hearing Impaired Bowling trip

On Monday, Mr Elbro and Ms Howard took three of the Academy’s hearing impaired students to Rowan’s Ten Pin Bowling in Finsbury Park for a day out organised by the Hackney Learning Trust. The students socialised and bowled with other hearing and visually impaired students from schools across the borough, before eating all the pizza they could manage! Everyone had a lot of fun, and it was fantastic to see our students getting on so well with others and being really helpful for those who found it harder to join in. They conducted themselves brilliantly and were excellent Petchey ambassadors.
