We are now in week 3 and these are the main things each team have accomplished:
Firstly the coding team have been working hard on making a mechanical code for the drive train subsystem, and today they’ve completed it! However they still need to create various different drive objects.
Secondly, the electronics team have been working on our claw mechanism. This involved cutting and drilling up loads of metal (which is very loud!).
Finally, the drive train team this week got up to making a stand to mount the electronics. Additionally they also started to dismount the electronics from the old board. The team concluded how they would mount pneumatics, mount the robot and figure out where each component would be placed. A lot of progress this week, next week brings the movement of the robot!
