We ran our 'It's not fair fayre' this week to allow our Sixth Form students to create stands and displays that reflected important issues in society. The displays varied in themes, however as with all the other work going on during StOP week it was designed to challenge our students and make them reflect on issues they might usually avoid.
The Sixth Form students created the displays and the Year 7 and 8 students were invited to walk round the fayre and interact with our Sixth Formers. It offered an opportunity for students to engage with each other who might not usually cross paths. Below we have highlighted two of the displays our Sixth Formers produced that the students found particulate engaging. Others ideas included a music stand where our students had to listen to music and guess the nationality of the artist that was being played, it was these kind of games which were designed to allow the students to challenge prejudices and ideas that they might have had.
