As part of our Stamp Out Prejudice week our Year 9 Art classes have been developing their skills while incorporating key themes of the week. Below is a selection of the work that they produced. They were given a brief to create a poster to send out a clear message using their artistic skills. This message was to stamp out prejudice in the following subjects; racism, homophobia, sexism and bullying.
In keeping with the theme of the week we wanted our students to really think about these issues and reflect on them in not just their own lives, but how others also encounter them in everyday scenarios. Some truly excellent pieces have been produced.
