COMMUNITY COHESION AT THE PETCHEY ACADEMY

The Petchey Academy delivered another successful holiday programme during the February half term. A range of activities was on offer attracting over 68 young people from our local community. TPA worked in partnership with KCO Iceblading, LHC.CLEANET and GroundWork to deliver a diverse and educational holiday programme. We had a good mix of sports and activity workshops catering for a wide range of ethnicities, ages and abilities. Activities included Ice Blading, table tennis, football and two photography projects!  Well done to all who participated!!!

Stoke Newington Cricket Club – Sat 9am -12noon

 We have a major part to play in promoting community cohesion and therefore we are currently providing a range of services and activities beyond the school day to help meet the needs of our pupils, their families and the wider community.

 

The Petchey Academy works together with the local community to identify and implement action, based on mutual respect and  understanding of diverse cultures and contributions.

Providing excellent leisure and learning opportunities that may lead to personal and social development through the academy superb facilities.
