Ms. Alonso has organised a volunteering project in Mtwara, Southern Tanzania. She will go in August 2008 with a group of ten other volunteers from different nationalities to work with Mtwara's teacher college, rural schools, disadvantaged children and women in Southern Tanzania. The volunteers will be hosted by Hons. Mr. Mohamed Sinani, a member of Parliament for Mtwara Urban. As part of the project Ms. Alonso intends to  initiate an international educational link with one of the Tanzanian secondary schools from Mtwara and The Petchey Academy.

A grand Raffle will be held on the 22nd July 2008 at Nueva Costa Dorada

Tickets are £10. All the money raised will go towards English books and stationary for the schools in Tanzania. If you want to contribute towards the course but cannot make it for the meal, you can still buy a no-show raffle ticket for £5. Get your tickets as soon as you can.
