The University Gateway@The Petchey Academy is a sixth form provision aiming to inspire young people to continue their studies in Hackney post 16 on their journey to university and beyond. Everything that is expected of you here is with the express purpose of developing you to be the best version of yourself, ready for university and career prospects that perhaps you never thought possible, confident that you have the required skills and experience.
You will join us enthusiastic, motivated and excited about your future. Whilst with us you will study hard in the classroom and beyond, but also embrace the many extra-curricular activities and opportunities with which you are presented. After two years at the University Gateway you will leave us proud of what you have achieved, having built relationships with students, staff and external partners that you will carry with you beyond your examination results and throughout the next steps of your extraordinary journey to success.
