Peter Blackwell

Appointed by Foundation/Trust 31/08/2018 to 31/08/2022 Responsibility for Safeguarding & Children in Public Care and Community Relationships Joint Behaviour and Exclusions Governor Every Child Matters Committee Due for re-election: September 2022 Peter has been with ReachOut since 2004, starting out working with young people directly in schools before progressing on to managing fundraising and the London operations of the organisation as it grew from 20 to 500 young people. He was appointed Chief Executive in 2015. Peter also runs his own business, and has served as a school governor at three schools in east London. He is a trustee of the Hackney Winter Night Shelter, and volunteers as a South East Committee Member for BBC Children in Need.
