This new model will maximise learning time, allow students to make up for lost learning as part of our recovery curriculum as well as giving them a range of enrichment activities.
Y11, 12, and 13 students will finish at 3:30pm every day. Despite the early finish on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, for Years 7 to 10, we propose to keep the school open until 3.30pm so that they can take part in enrichment programmes should they wish to stay on site. We believe that the shorter finish time will suit our students and impact positively on their well-being and improve family time.
All students will have assembly and form time as part of the above allocation. We will use this time to undertake a personalised curriculum on Social and Cultural Experiences.
We will continue to provide a free breakfast for all students and staff every day as part of this new model.
