Venue Hire

The Excelsior Academy is a large site in Dalston, Hackney, conveniently located within a short walk of Dalston Junction, Dalston Kingsland, Hackney Downs, and Hackney Central stations.

Built in 2006, the academy is an incredibly flexible venue that has often been used as both a filming location and a venue for conferences and functions. It is available for hire outside of normal academy hours.

It is a modern building flooded with natural light, comprising classrooms, science labs, an auditorium with PA system, a refectory, a library, outdoor patio, sixth form building with a cafe, and car parking facilities.

The auditorium, with seating for up to 250 people, has a stage and pull-down screen and projector.

With a car park and fully functional kitchen, the academy is perfect for large functions, including weddings, parties, wakes, screenings or meetings. We can also accommodate filming and location hire requests.
